1-2 Shift is rough briefly

1-2 Shift is rough briefly I've noticed that my 1-2 shift is noticeably rougher until the trans warms up.
Usually after about 3-5 minutes of driving it is perfectly normal. It certainly
doesn't feel excessive(pretty minor, actually), but I've noticed that the motors revs slightly higher before it shifts for the first few minutes, only for the 1-2.
Also, I find that at WOT my shifts seem on the soft side. Granted this is my first a4 LS1, but are they normally pretty smooth? I'm thinking that torque management may be playing a role in that.
Car is a daily driver and generally babied FWIW; input is appreciated.
