Will a converter for a 700R4 work in a 4L60E? I've read that the the 700R4 and 4L60E are very similar and virtually the same transmissions, only to have the name changed when GM did some upgrades and called it a 4L60E? My question is will a converter for a 700R4 work in my 4L60E?

an earlier 700r4 converter will not work in your 01 4l60e, they do however fit some corvette's
