Default Harness plug on trans

Can the harness plug on the trans be plugged in 180* backwards?

And cause the trans to not have a 12v supply to PIN E?

Thinking of a solution as to why my M6 to A4 swap car will not shift.

Tested the car last night while it was still on the lift in the air and after the A4 tune was flashed. The car did not shift through the gears.

Here is a pic of what im talking about

Make sure there is a fuse in the fuse holder for the transmission (if its a non-stock harness). I've seen this issue several times.
