Wierd vibration while in Drive...
Wierd vibration while in Drive... I get this wierd vibration when on the highway if I leave it in Drive and not OD. It starts at 1800rpm or so, then builds to a really noticeable point at 2k rpm and above.
At that point, if I put it in OD, the rpms drop, converter locks, and it smooths out. At this point I'm doing 1700rpm or so.
If I take it up to 2000rpm and beyond (which is where I get the bad vibe in D) while in OD, it's still nice and smooth, no vibes.
Now it's not really a noticeable problem, since I always use OD on the highway, but I know it's not right.
Any idea what could be causing the vibe at 2k in D, and not 2k in OD?
