why does dipstick say 80% on it

Default why does dipstick say 80% on it

hey guys my oil level was at that 80% line when i started it today,what is the correct line it should be???

No it says 80*F.
With the car off the fluid level will read high, it will go lower with the car running, it expands with heat so it'll get higher as it reaches operating temp.

I've found that the 80 degree mark on the stick is not very accurate, it's best to check the fluid level with the trans at operating temperature.
