Default A4 Shifting on normal driving?

Hi,

My 98 Camaro’s 4l60e was built with Borg Warner clutches and Transgo Shift kit since more than 16 months, I have one problem with shifting when driving slowly, when I get to move from a stop, the RPM MUST go to 1900 so that It shifts to 2nd gear, even when I slow down to 20 it downshifts (smoothly but I don’t think it’s needed, staying in 2nd should be ok)

Is this because of the mechanical chances or it’s related to tuning?

Also, when I put the shifter in 2nd, the 1st gear takes a lot of RPM”s, sometimes it goes up to 3000 and then change, I have to move the shifter to D so that it shifts normally.

Is there a way in tuning to make me choose the 2nd gear from a dig start?

Your help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance 

Default

When I put mine in 2 it starts in 2nd. Came that way. My car under normal or slow driving shifts to 2nd very quickly. Low speed and rpm. My tranny has been tuned not sure if that is why or not.
