Default 4l80e problems...... No pressure

Ok here is the run down... Bought the vehicle with a 5.3/4l80e in it. Trans had 0 miles since rebuild with a vig3000 tc. We filled it with fluid and started it up. No reverse or forward gears. Check the fluid level and it's good. Put a pressure gauge on it and 0 psi at all times. Drop the pan to check the filter/pickup and they were good. The tc was spaced 1/8" away from the trans. Put at all back together and check pressure. 0 psi at idle but will go up to 30 psi while revving. Tried spacing 1/4" away and 1/16" away but still no change. Thinking the previous owner might have tightened tc againist the pump we pulled the tranny/t-case. The both looked good. Any things to check before I lug this thing to the tranny shop? Thanks in advance.

Theres no telling whats wrong if it was just rebuilt.
It would be best if the trans shop tore it down and started over, even if the problem was found.

You could take the pan off, make sure the boost valve is in correctly. You could pull the pump and seperate it. Take the valve body off and check everything.

If you unbolt the converter and push it into the trans how much space is there between the bolt pad and flexplate?

There is 1/4" between the pads and flexplate. Going to talk to tue tranny shop that built it tomorrow.
