94 m6 to an a4 swap

Just wondering what everyone has done about the hole in the floor when swapping from a m6 to an a4?How did you mount the auto shifter?Just looking for ideas..Thanks for any helpThis is being done on a 94 2z8

Cover it up with a sheet metal plate.

Or go to the local pick your part with a battery powered sawzall and cut the area out of a factory A4 f body.

Then weld it, pop rivet it, screw it down, etc.
