Default Should I Install The TransGo HD-2 Shift Kit?

Hey guy's I have a TransGO HD-2 Shift Kit that I'm debating on installing right now. If I installed it with no springs or spacers, would that help my transmission life? Should I just get it tuned and I will be fine?

I am going to be installing a FTI 4000 stall in my car along with a 29k BTU cooler and get a Mail Order tune for sure.

I had one installed when I had my transmission rebuilt and it's been great - couldn't really answer your question though about extending the life of the tranny though.

If you install it with no springs?

Just don't use any spacers. Install the blue accumulator spring in the housing, then the small gold washer, the piston, the orange spring.

Drill the holes in the instructions out to .093.

For the rest just follow the instructions and use every spring in the kit except the left over accumulator valve spring (the kit gives you two and you use the one that matches your servo.)
