can i replace my 4l60e with a 4l80e
Pros:
Much, much Stronger (stock hard parts will hold ~750 hp, whereas it takes a badass 4L60E build to get there, not sure how long a 4L60E will last at 750, even a badass build).
Better 1st for drag racing (if you have the power, the 4L60E 3.06 first gear hurts more than the 2.48 4L80E gear, also MANY other ratios available for 4L80E).
Cons:
~30lbs heavier (not enough to warrant a weaker trans, imo)
~a little more power to turn (again, not enough to warrant a weaker trans, imo)
