Default Differences in 94 and 95 4L60Es?

I posted this in the LT1/LT4 section, and was advised to ask here since the members browsing this board would probably have more info on the subject. Sooo...

I just purchased a 94' Formula with a bad auto trans. Theres a guy local to me whos selling a stock auto trans from a 95' Z28. Are there any differences between the two transmissions, mechanical or electronic, that would prevent me from sawpping it into the Formula? Or, if there are changes, can they be remedied?

Pump, valve body, separator plate and the internal harness are all different in these two units. I would make sure to get the correct one for your car. Vince

wow, that's a completely different answer than what I got on other boards. Are there really that many changes in from one year to the next? Other responses have said the exact opposite, that the swap would work just fine with no issues. Guess I have some research to do

thanks for the reply
