Default Changing my setup & need some input (Colonel)

If my income tax return is as good as I'm hoping, I'll be changing my current setup. I'll be running a 427 darton block, Stage III 6.0 heads, ~246/252 615ish lift 112LS, dual stage ~125/200 wet shot, and sheet metal intake. What converter would best suit my setup? I plan on going to the track regularly but this is my daily driver. I like my yank 3000's driveability and I can keep my stock towing capacity but, I've heard that the multi-disc vigs can also accomplish this. Any advice? I know the trans is the weak link at this power level so I may do a 4L80 conversion. Does vig make any converters for the '80E? Thanks for any and all help.

Colonel got married over the weekend, won't be back for a few days.

My suggestion, you can run the FLP tranny.. start collecting the parts for the 4L80 set up.

If you like the Yank, I'd stick with something close to it. That converter behind more power will stall a few hundred rpm more, but should be plenty streetable. When you step to the 4L80, talk with mike at Yank about a SS series converter.
