I used a B&M holeshot 3000 something a few years back. TH350/400 style. New in the box from Summit.
It was the typical 4 or 6 cylinder core converted to work with a V8. I could not believe the shitty workmanship of it, under the paint there were deep scratches like it had been thrown across the pavement, it would draw blood if you ran your hand across it.
I had it in my car for a day, took it out and got a TCI, sold the B&M and the guy I sold it to said it failed 3 weeks later.

When it comes to convertors it seems that you get what you pay for. I ran an Art Carr 2800 stall convertor for 7 yrs and never had a problem with it, but I paid 700 for it. Last year I changed over to a Yank SS4000 and picked up 3 tenths over the Art Carr, Yank is haveing a special this month you should look into it
