madman trans. dipstick trans-th400 with csr shield
am i gonna have to drop the trans to put the dipstick in or can it be done with the trans in. the shop i got my trans from sent me a hard tube one fits all...

... so i ordered one from madman. 
mine will be in from madman tomorrow. they said it will likely snake in and is unlikely i will have to drop the trans. Worst case they said i can remove the crossmemeber and jiggle the trans to get it in. We shall see soon. I'll let you know.
well the madman dipstick fit without droping the trans it was a pain because of the csr shield but i got it finally. the dipstick looks to be hitting the brass looking part on the shield so i might trim that so it will bolt to the second bolt. ill be hooking up the cooler tomorrow so im sure ill run into something due to the shield again. dont get me wrong csr made a nice looking piece you just have a lot of extra obsticles to overcome when you use it in this application.
