Default 4L60E Tranny Issues

Having issues with my 95 TA tranny. Stock config, when I put it into reverse, engages right away. In drive, takes a few seconds, and it seems like it partially engages before it does completely. Once in, seems to run normally. Friend suggested I flush the tranny, either fix it or kill it. Any ideas before I go to that?

Well the delay could be excessive forward clutch clearance or a damades or broken forward accumulator piston or spring . In any case its likley your about due for a trans. Try the filter change and see what in the pan. I would not do a full flush as it will likley be waste of money.
