Default Harness conversion question.

I have a harness from a 01 ss auto that im converting to m6. Its still got the auto connector on it, and i wanted to start the motor before completing the conversion. Will the auto plug not being connected cause the motor to not start?

Thanks, going to research the conversion soon, but i wanted to get the motor started first.

It should start providing you still have a park neutral switch hooked up on the original auto shifter. The round plug on a 4l60e has nothing to do with starting your engine. Vince
