Default Proper 4L60E Oil Temperature Is...???

Bone stock 2001 F-body 4L60E with 4,000 original miles. What is the proper transmission fluid operating temperature range, for a long healthy life? lol

Around 180-220 is a good operating range if running a stall. I try and keep mine at 200 for making drag strip passes.

When my car was stock I didn't see more than 180 driving normally.
I could run it down the track 5 times in a row before the temps got to 210.
So you should be ok, and running approx 180 +/-

Cool as possible. I see 120 (or less)-150 during the spring/winter/fall, and 160-190 during the blistering months.
