4L80E to 4L60E K, I've read all the swap info on going from a 60 to an 80 but I'm wondering about the reverse. Basically I have a 6.0/4L80E combo in my 2wd 02' silverado that I am thinking about yanking and dropping the LS1/4L60E into out of my Z. I don't do any heavy hauling that would require the 80 (my previous 98' Z71 never had an issue with the 60E hauling big trailers or running down the track boosted or sprayed). I've also wondered if instead of reprogramming the 6.0 computer for the trans if I could just swap PCM's, but not sure if I would lose any functions by doing that. All my previous LSx swaps used custom harnesses (by me or bought) so this is a little different. Any info or suggestions would be great. I planned on buying a 6.0L block and an 80E anyways for the Z so this would just be easy lol. Thanks in advance
