TCC not locking, 95 rebuilt trans
TCC not locking, 95 rebuilt trans The trans was rebuilt a couple months back but I've had bigger problems that needed to be addressed. Now I'm finally trying to figure this out. It locks sometimes at lower speeds, but quickly unlocks and usually won't lock back up, or if it does it's on/off/on/off. Lately, I haven't felt it lock up at all, and it never locked up above say 55mph.
I do have tuning and scanning software which confirms the TCC never locking, but you can tell that it tries to lock but somethings not letting it.
I've searched through the threads, and I've heard of PWM and misfires causing problems, but I'm not sure what PWM is and all threads I found were from LSx owners.
Just looking for possible causes that I can check out before I bring it back to my trans builder. Converter is brand new stock size installed when trans was rebuilt.
