4L80e ?'s I picked up my lq4 and 4l80e (I assume its a 4l80e with p/n 24208421). I'm going carb'd route with the engine, what I need to know do I have to have a computer of some kind to run this tranny or can I do a manual valve body? I'm new to all this so all the help would be appreciated. Oh yeah its going in a 71 camaro.

Thanks. The more I read the more I'm leaning towards buying the stand alone controller, just so I wont be shifting all the time. If I was doing that i'd just throw a 6 speed behind it! Maybe jake will chime in here and fill me in.
