Get the trans rebuilt by a reputable trans shop and get all the best parts installed. You should check out RPM or FLT, they are sponsors have build great trans. It is the holiday season now so you should be able to catch a good sale. Good luck!

You have two posts. The other one says the car has 177,000 miles on it.
Knowing that, I'd say rebuild it or replace it.

Definitely rebuild it. It's about that time. If you do go with a shift kit when you get it rebuilt, go for the Transgo. I've been running one in mine for like 2 years, and I love it. I only used one washer in the 2nd accumulator, so it shifts a little firmer than normal when just cruising around town, but harder at WOT.

Agreeded with that kind of miles on the unit you might kill it with adding a shift kit. I would look into a built unit thats for sure. If you do not have someone local to you look into what the sponsors here might have to offer. Hope this helps. Vince
