Default Cleaning a stall

I can't seem to get rid of my stalls. One from a 02 camaro and another from a 05 GTO. I'm going to scrap them and I need to have them clean for the weigh in at the scrap yard. I was planning on dumping either mineral spirits or just gasoline in it and shake it up. Then I would drill a hole and drain it all. Does this sound like a good idea or does anybody have any other ideas. I thank you for your time.

I would do that and drill some holes around the perimeter.

PLEASE DRILL THE HOLES FIRST!!!!! Drilling into a gass tank sounds like a bad idea. ive found out the hard way that wd-40 is explosive when drilling into a tank.
