Default Accumulator Piston ????

I was taking out a washer out of it from my shift kit and noticed the accumulator piston had a couple little cracks in it. Will it be safe to run it or do i really need to get a new one from the dealer.

You might as well replace it now, it will eventually bust.

GM#24204496 You can find it in GMparts direct under 1996 Corvette.
This replacement is from the 700R4 and is aluminum. The plastic ones crack. A lot of guys replace them when doing a Transgo.
