Powerglide shifter in 6-speed console
Powerglide shifter in 6-speed console I am building a new drag car, and I'm in the process of putting a powerglide in it. The previous owner hacked up the auto console pretty bad, so I ordered a 6 speed console, boot, and ring.
I remember seeing some really clean installs of TCI outlaw shifter with the 6-speed console but haven't had much luck finding the thread.
Anyone have any installed pics of a TCI Outlaw or comparable shifter in a 6 speed console. or can point me to the thread with all the pics?
From what I understand, it should be a real straight forward install.

I think that those shifters look real clean in the 6-speed console.
Guess I'm going with a TCI outlaw shifter for the glide. I just got in a nice used ebay 6sp console, boot, and metal ring. Now I just need to buy a shifter and put it all in the car.
