LT-1 4L60E behind an LSX
I recently did an LSX swap in my 97 Camaro. To save some money I kept the LT-1 4L60E and rebuilt it. Had no problem getting it in, but now the bottom piece of the transfer case will not fit. I know the LSX 4L60's had one piece, but I didn't know if anyone knows of how to get this piece to fit. Any input will help guys. Thanks.

4 wheel drive camaro?
Kidding aside, you do any research about using that transmission or just slap it on there? The input shaft is different for sure.

I dont think you should have any problems mounting this. I did it with my 1996 corvette. Im running a early 4l60e with a LS2 flexplate and spacer. It bolted up fine at the bell housing. I dont see where your problem is unless you have issues at the tailshaft. Meaning you mounted the tailshaft on your crossmember and now it wont reach at the bell housing. If thats the case you need to do research to make it reach for the distance.

Trying to get the piece thats in the first pic to go around the converter. The other two are just pics of the tailshaft. "fc soldier" was asking about the tailshaft. Thanks.
