Will this Cam/Converter Combination Work? Ok, I'm getting a Speedtek F1 cam (230/226 .592/.569 112+2) and a set of MAC midlengths this week, and I've been trying to find a used converter to run for awhile. Well, I found a 3200 Vigilante converter for a good price and I had planned to buy it. I was told however that with this cam, I wanted at least a 3600 stall converter, since the power with this cam doesn't come in until 3300. I am having to go the inexpensive route right now due to a new house, but I don't want to put together a combo that I'll regret later or want to change immediately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would rather go with a new higher stall converter, but I'm getting a great deal on the headers and cam and I am trading out my stock cam and manifolds for the ones that I'm getting. (so if I want to go anywhere I have to have a TC when we trade out next weekent) I can't afford the TC that I really want right now, but I need something that would work ok for a few months until I could get a better one. Would I be able to get by with the 3200 or is it just a huge mistake?

That vig will work fine for you. If you want every last ounce of performance, you need to move higher, but the 3200 will make a huge improvement over stock and have decent in town feel.
