I have recently had my 2001 Trans-Am tuned on the dyno. Everything went GREAT there.. I loaded it up on the trailer and took it home, about a week later I tried to drive it and my Transmission is not shifting from 2nd to 3rd at all. I have tried leaving it in drive and tried manually shifting it and it is just not going. Im pretty sure the guy who tuned the car locked the car into third while on the dyno... Any ideas on what this could be? Im thinking maybe shift solenoid??? Maybe something he could have done electronically?? PLEASE HELP!!! Im ready to get this thing going for the warmer weather!! Thanks!!

 

You have the most common problem there is with these, the loss of the 3-4 clutch pack. The transmission will have to come out for this to be fixed. There are updates you can do if you want once it is apart.
