Default Vacuum Modulator Line

I just got my FLP tranny installed. And my installer forgot to use the metal line to the vacuum modulator and he wants to use a standard vacuum line because the tranny is already installed.

How important is it for me to use the metal line? And is there a easy way to get it in there without dropping the tranny?

On my Stage 3 Speed Inc it came with a clear line with a metal braid inside. You need to keep the line from being sucked shut for it to work properly.

The way I understand it is that if your line is closed, you will be running full line pressure all the time which is not good for the tranny.

I would get it fixed ASAP,it should be easy to install clear line with braid set up as it is very flexable.

I use the thick "tranny cooler line style" black tubing. Works great.

You need something that doesn't collaspe when hot and under vacuum.
