Default Th350 / FLAT FLEXPLATE

Quick question, Ive been reading all of the write ups, only question I think I have is
Do I need a spacer for the crank I have a FLAT flexplate (98 ls1)?

Also Everything else should just bolt right up pertaining to possibly making the old converter bolt holes a hair bigger!

Thanks Chris

I was wrong, the flexplate looked flat but took it out and seen that it is curved. Layed it against a th350 converter and seen that I can make the holes a little larger just need to know about the spacer? anyone know if a th350 will mate up to ls1 flexplate with/without spacer?
