Default 4l80e crank spacer...

I don't quite know what to do at this point. I bought a used lq4 from an 06 silverado to put into my 68 camaro. I've replaced the cam and heads. I also bought a 4l80e (1hpp) from a 2001 GMC van with a 5.7l engine. everything seems to be fine except when I bolt the engine and trans together the flex plate is about a half inch away from the bolt holes on the converter.
I thought that I might need the crank spacer and longer bolts, but when I pulled off the flex plate it looks like this:

Maybe I'm retarded but isn't that a crank spacer? It seems like its either that or part of the flex plate...
How do I make the trans fit??

What converter are you running?

Measure the distance from the converter side of the flex-plate to the block.

I'm an idiot. The tranny bolts just needed to be torqued.
