Default Help? Questions about wiring on Trans

Ok. So i just bought this car about a month ago. And when i first bought it i was told only upgrade was the exhaust. Well i keep finding more and more. Witch im not complaining one bit. How ever. I was under the car today. Looking to make sure they didn't have a wide band 02 sensor or bung installed on the car before buying one. And was looking around down there. And noticed that there are two wire harnesses unplugged by the transmission. Just sitting there. So im wondering. Is there aspose to be something plugged in to them? And would there be a reason why they were unplugged? I Latter on found out they installed a 3500 Torque converter to the car, Now im just wondering if ths are apsoe to be hooked up. or if there is a reason on why not. The tranny works just fine though. And have no problems with it what so ever. Thanks in advance for any help

Those are the rear O2 sensor plugs. Not needed if you have no cat converters. Hopefully they tuned them out and your check engine light is not on.

thanks.... I was curious, Well the check engine light was not on when i got the car but came up the other day. Have to check the code as soon as my EFI live gets in the mail, How many O2 sensors are there? because there are two also at the end of the pacesetter headers that are installed as well?

The car originally came with four O2 sensors. The front ones in the headers communicate with the ECM to adjust AFR.

The rear O2's just read the exhaust gas after the cats to be sure the cats are working.
