Park Has anybody had this happen to them. I just recieved my car back from the tranny shop and they installed a torque converter and trans. pump that was messed up. But now the car doesn't want to stay in park I can shift to any gear, but when I shift to park it doesn't stay in park it stays in the gear that it was in last. For example if I shift to the 1 gear and back to park it will stay on the 1 gear. I had to shift the tranny to park by the cable under neath the car( idk what its called) to get it in park. the car isn't running right now and the trans. shop is saying they didn't open up the transmission when they replaced the pump. So do you guys have any ideas of what it could be? I'm hoping it something really easy.
