after 80e swap second slips
after 80e swap second slips im runnin a rebuilt 80e transmission with a jakes performance manual control box and 3800 stall converter.. and it pulls hard in first and third but in second when you floor it, you can tell the transmission is slippin.. so im wondering if their is somethin i can try without pullin the trany out.

i called jake... aparently the pressure control solenoid needed ground down to max the line pressure. but i think its already to late.. i pulled the pan and the fluid is all metalic and dark

the pos still slips.. its weird though cause it will either slip or it wont.. its intermitent.. and grinding the valve did nothing. it still shifts soft.
so im gonna pull it and have a friend go over it. so whats a good rebuild kit thats proven? are the red eagles good in these?
