Jerking from Park to Drive
One of the previous owners supposedly used an additive for firming up shifts. He said as long as he owned it from 70-100k miles it had the same problem. According to him the jerking was normal.
Does this sound like a torque converter problem at all? I'm really at a loss for where to go from here.
Another thing to note is when I had a digital window switch installed, it read 700 RPMs in Neutral. This is only 50 above normal. When in drive it's supposed to read 550. I'm probably a few hundred RPMs over that. I never had anyone look at the window switch while in gear, so that's purely a guess.
