Jerking from Park to Drive
Jerking from Park to Drive On cold starts my car tends to jerk really hard when you shift from Park to Reverse or from Park to Drive. Once it's in drive, the car tends to move on it's own power until it's warm. This makes braking a little more difficult. RPMs stay around 1000 in park. Then they crawl up to 1200-1300 when the car is moving under it's own power. The car has just over 100k miles on it. I've ruled out the TPS sensor.
One of the previous owners supposedly used an additive for firming up shifts. He said as long as he owned it from 70-100k miles it had the same problem. According to him the jerking was normal.
Does this sound like a torque converter problem at all? I'm really at a loss for where to go from here.

Just a cutout and lid. Had nitrous before. The only time I've gotten close to the CPU was when I had to tap into the tach wire and TPS wire for my nitrous setup.
I did this when I first bought the car. Didn't help at all. I'll try again just to be 100 percent sure though.
Do you happen to have any suggestions on where to start? I've thought about swapping out my TB with the one off my buddy's 98 camaro to rule out a PP TB that's had too much material removed. Could a faulty IAC possibly cause a problem like this?
Another thing to note is when I had a digital window switch installed, it read 700 RPMs in Neutral. This is only 50 above normal. When in drive it's supposed to read 550. I'm probably a few hundred RPMs over that. I never had anyone look at the window switch while in gear, so that's purely a guess.
