ok i just got a fresh built transmission the unit is a great peice it works verry well, when i got my high stall cut and cleaned i got it restalled it is a tci 3500 that has been restalled to a 4k it launches great and drives like **** on the street but thats cool.

my only issue is on the freeway when i have the car in od when i floor it the car downshifts and acts like it is in netural the trans temp never leaves 160 so i know its not slipping cuz its not building heat, the other weird thing is since the new converter and trans any speed higher than 92mph the spedometer starts to go down like slower until i let off the throttle then comes back up any help will would be greatly appreciated


the mods to the car are lq9 228/230 longtubes, slp catback, dyno tune, 4k converter, 4:10, 100shot

 

I would probably start with looking into your speedo issues. You might have a speed sensor that is starting to go bad or a bad connection at the sensor itself. I have seen many issues related to the vss so start there. Vince
