Default 4l80e help please!

I have a 2000 lq4 computer and wiring harness. My ? is I can get a low mile 2006 4l80e, will my computer and harness work with it as far as controling the trans? Any plugs or pins in the wiring that have to be changed or switched? I don't want to miss out on this deal if I can use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes it should work providing that the vehicle it came from had an 80 in it. If not slow 67 has a fix for you or go take a look on PT.net in the gm drive train section. Pretty sure there is a sticky over there with what the truck guys are doing. Vince

X2...if the PCM/wiring is also from an LQ4, it should already be setup for a 4l80E.
