Default 4l60e

are there any diffences in the 4L60E transmissions use in the firefird V8 and V6? can they be swapped between the V8 and the V6? also what is a fair price for a 4L60E out of a 2000 V6 Firebird in good working condition with 87K.

A used 4l60 w/87k is worthless if it is original. The v6 I think has only five 3-4 clutches instead of the normal 6 and I think they are not as strong.

The bellhousing, input shaft, input drum and the pump are all different between the V6 and V8 4L60e transmission. I would look into getting your stock unit rebuilt.
