i have a stock ws6 a4 now that runs 8.80s, looking for low 8s and high 7s, if i get a 4k stall do i have to get a tune and how much would it be, or should i get 4.10 gears and a ls6 cam

 

Stall before cam. I'd get a mail order tune from Frost! He does great work and you will love the way the car feels after the tune and stall. Just better get some dr's. What gears do you have now? 3.73's and a 4k stall are very fun. Any more mod plans? Cam, ect.....?

 

how much does he charge for a tune, and what are dr's?, if i get a stall i want either a texas speed ms3 cam or a lingenfelter gt1. i have 3.23 gears now

 

I think Frost tunes run around 150. DR's are drag radials. And, you can never go wrong with a 3600-4000 stall.

 

i realized that right after i asked lol, i figured a 4k would be great because i could still do 25-30 rolls easily

 

i think im gonna go 4.10 gear 1st because its cheapest

 

You need a tune and tires or the stall is wasted effort.
