4L60E, 2 questions Does anyone know which book, Chilton's, etc. covers rebuilding the best? If so, can you provide the part number or location to find that book?
Next, who can rebuild them well in the Gainesville, Daytona or Jax, FL area?
Might need one done for a 1500 4X4 w/ 5.3L

That's cool... Can download it. I was kinda hoping Chilton's had a good one, but this may be even better. Thanks.
I was going about it w/o knowing who wrote a good one and my main goal is to find a thorough book with every detail. Figured it'd be best to ask people who've seen them already or get info on a shop with a clue. Just met a guy who has had his rebuilt 3 times in the past year and it's broken again. Trying to avoid that.
