Default Ported maf and line pressure

i am installing a fmvb 4l80e into my 2002 camaro ss. it will be a manual valve body, do i need to change line pressure when im done with install? its not going to be controlled by the computer til later down the road. ive read if you port your maf ends it kills tranny's, will it bother mine since computer isn't controlling it?

I just wouldnt do it, for the miniscule gain you get its not worth it at all, stock maf can take up to 500hp without a need of a modification

The full manual VB will not need any tuning for the line pressure.

well the person who had the car before me did it. i found out when i swapped my ported tb.
jake im pretty sure i got a fmvb when i ordered it from you, it came with the black box to run the lockup and trans brake. so it should manual right? and going to get it controlled by hptuners when i get the chance to have mine swapped over to control it.
