Default Having trouble with new converter! Please help

I have a 98 ws6 trans am with a few mods, mostly stock though. I took it out last night and raced a 03 supercharged cobra. I just installed a TCI ssf3500 stall converter about a week ago. Seems to be doing well exept when I was racing this cobra it was hitting the rev limiter in second gear everytime. I was wondering what will fix this problem? I can't have no fords beating me like that. Please reply if anyone has had this kind of problem, thanks.

Raise the rev limiter or lower the 2-3 shift point with a hypertech or LS1edit.

Make sure the tranny fluid is 100% full, I have a TCI 3500 and didnt have any problems hitting any of the limiters. When I first installed it I would hit the limiter in 3rd but once I filled it all the way up it shifted perfect

The 2-3 shift, in my car anyway, always seemed slugish. I boosted line pressure and lowered the shift point alittle and it works fine now. With a Predator: 2-3: 6000 shift, I forgot mph (this is what I lowered), with a 6200 limiter, 20-25% pressure, -25% shift time
