Default Yank 4l60E

Ok im down to two different tranny buillders. Yank or Carl Rossler. I have seen some referals for Carls trannys. Has anyone used Yank? Either way I would go with a transbrake. So for the yank it would be the PRO YANK. Anyone ever use these guys for the tranny?

Also last question I know the TH400 is stonger and cheaper. But its a 3 speed so I lose overdrive. Does that make it unstreetable? If I have a 4400 stall?

Thanks for the help guys

Mike

I'd find out who is building the Yank trannys before I bought one. I was not impressed with the 11K and 70 1/4 mile passes (car was only making about 350HP) I got out of my Pro Yank from his previous builder. I now run a Mike Kurtz (Century Automotive) built 4L60E with no problems so far (car is now on the spray).

I would recommend a Yank converter to anyone. They KICK ***!! Trannys are a different story though.
