FLP Level 4 went in with the MTI 422. She had about 16K miles before the first spray with consistant 1.5x's for over 100 runs with 11.0x's on a 3,850lbs car.

She got a two stage 100hp/50hp setup last year and ran over 20 1.4x's on the 100hp shot out of the whole spraying the full way down for 10.5x's. She put on another 5K miles with plenty of 150 dual stage runs on the highway. Slip just isn't in her vocabulary.

Now the trick is this is all done with the SY-3500 which is plenty soft on the drive train but 570HP on a mustang dyno (add 8-10% to get to dynojet world) with a 3,850lbs car is still a solid kick the pants on any converter.

Mike Kurtz (Century Automotive) built 4L60E here. Spraying thorugh the shifts with a TNT 150 wet kit. No problems. SY3500 converter also. Times in sig.

if u can don't spray thru the shifts....some people get away...but most dont. I had heads/cam/tnt 100 shot and I had it cut off the spray about 300rpm before the shift and engage about 200r's after the shift....after 110,000 miles she was still runnin strong....

do what ya want.....this has been my luck.

This is good to hear! I have a FLP Level IV/SY3500 combo as well. If that's held up to what you've thrown at it for over 20K miles and all those intense 1/4 mile runs, I can probably get 100K street miles out of mine with my mild setup.
