Red face WOT shift

I have a 02 trans am ws6. Tranny wise its stock beside the firmness in shift from the tune. But I feel like my car is so slow at certain wot shifts. Like if im in town at 35 to 40 and I punch it it seems to be slow. But if im going 50 and I ppunch it its like a rocket. And from a dead stop or 10mph roll it goes apesh** and feels like a muscle car. Why is that? I have stock 323 gears and I plan on putting 373. Will the new gears help? I want it to feel fast everytime I punch the gas. I don't want some sh**stang at 40mph to beat me cause his torques up harder in a downshit at that speed.

no problem....

a stahl will really wake up the car & get rid of that dead spot,it will keep it in the power band......

then later do the 373 gears to finish it up....

if you plan on camming the car in the future, then look at a 3800 to 4000 stahl....
depends on what you like.....the bigger the harder the hit.....

its been a while since i have done an auto,i think stock is around 1800 stahl?

Depending on what you want to do with the car, 3200-3600 and youll love it.
