TH400 Converter work in 4l80e?

Its a stupid question, and i thought i saw a thread on it some time ago.

Will it work??

The 4l80e converter is a lockup style unit. The 400 never was built with lockup. They are fundamentally different components.

The hub that drives the front pump is also different.

Thanks guys! I didnt think so, i knew one had lock up, one didnt etc. But didnt know if forgetting about the lock up and not using it would, well you know.
