Question Transmisson Flush

The manual for my 2000 Trans Am said to change the transmisson fluid at 65000 any recommendations. Was told to reuse half of what I drain and get the fluid from the dealer not sure if this is the best resolution for my problem.

Thanks

Whoa wait. Who told you to re-use half of the fluid you drain? Also, you can use ATF from any parts store-doesn't have to be the dealer. Finally, are you saying you're having problems with your transmission?

I don't understand the re-use of the fluid either. If the dealer is not doing the flush for you, no need to buy the fluid there. It is available almost anywhere and I'm sure at much lower prices.
