thinking of swapping to an a4 idk what all i need or what type of trans i should go with im going to be running a forged lq4 l92 set up mid to high 400's at the wheels plus a shot idk whether to go 4l60 th350 or th400 or jus get a tick stage 3 t56 need some input guys

My opinion might be a bit biased.

 

If the cars sees any kind of street time I would suggest something with overdrive.

Check with North Texas Converter(they are a sponsor on here). One of the tech's has a '99 GMC with a similar LQ4/L92 setup you have. They can hook you up with a killer 4L80e and converter that will handle whatever you can throw at it..
