Which TC for my setup?
Which TC for my setup? Ok right now I got the stock converter in my 98 vette. Mods are in the sig. I have a Xtreme Performance 4l60e, honestly can't remember which one it has been a little over two years since I have bought everything. LS6 cam and 317 heads. Stock 2.73's for now. Car is in Kentucky and I am in Hawaii. Car hasn't moved probably since March 09. I bought an aftermarket TC during my deployment but when everything started getting put together and sorted out it was several months later. Only to find out the converter was for Fbody. Couldn't return it because of the time I have owned it.
Now I am finally PCS'ing from Hawaii back to the mainland so I really want to drive my car. I don't plan on doing any hard driving until I get the suspension set up and get a good TC in there as well. Now my questions are will my stock converter be ok just for driving around? Nothing really hard, maybe every now and again get on it. Also what brand and range of converter would you all suggest I got with when the time comes?
