I have a Revmax 3200 converter for almost 2yrs now and love it.. Been down the track about 15 times and cut 1.9 60's on street tires in a stock 1995 LT1.. Wife wont let me do sticky tires or any other mods since its her car.. If I could get a drag radial and headers and cut my 60 down to a 1.7 My 13.3 should turn into a High 12...

Not much at all actually a car with an efficient 3600 stall with 3.23's or 3.42 gears should keep up with traffic fine around 2200 rpms and will move as soon as you lift your foot off the brake. I have a 3600 fti sitting waiting to go in...

Thanx, I have a 2800 and am new to a stall and I am at about 3000 rpm's by the time I leave second at about 35-40 mph. Just wanted to know if this is normal and it sound like it is. I do like the fact that all I need do is touch the gas a little and the wheels start to smoke. ha ha ha ha ha ....I like it.

To comment on the 60' times.... Most of our customers go with a 3200 stall unit, and this tight of a stall will not give you the most impressive 60's... Most of these units we seem to sell are 90% street and 10% strip, so we try to maximize the driving manners of the units. Our 3600 stall units will really cut 60' times, but 3.73's are really needed to achieve the full effect. Now, in order to see good 60' times we all know that drag radials or slicks will be needed and 3.73's help a ton! Finally, TUNES play a huge part of this, if the vehicle is not tuned to the converter and setup, 60' as well as overall performance can and will suffer! Yes, a GOOD DRIVER, WELL PREPPED TRACK, STICKY TIRES, GEARS .etc and a 3600 Revmax converter will net 1.5x-1.7x 60's no problem!

I actually have the same comment as lemons what kind of efficiency are we getting from the converters? It seems asthough most people this guys included are seeing 1.8-1.9 ish 60' times. I know str and weight play a roll but from other sponsors a 1.5-1.7 60ft are the norm. Again I know you have street tires and are an lt1 but I would expect a little better also the majority of people I have seen with a yank, ptc ,fti etc either experience no loss in mph or a slight gain while guys with rev max's usually seem to lose a mph or two over the 1/4. Weather plays a roll but I have seen reports of this happening to multiple cars.

My car is on street tires some POS cheap *** tires that the old owner put on. They had 32 psi of air in them. My wife wont let me do DR's since it is her car.. I launched my car @ 1500 RPMs when I went the 13.6 and 2200 RPMs when I went 13.3.. I cut a 1.996 with the 13.6 and a 1.899 with the 13.3.. It was my first 2 times running a Automatic car @ the track let alone with a 3200 Stall converter.. I consider myself a Shitty driver.. I am sure with a Drag radial and a 1.7 60' My car will run 12's.. Not bad for a stock LT1 with an Airfoil and 3200 stall..
Oh and I am on stock tune with stock Gearing..

Yea, I'm having a issue with my converter or tranny, It seems like a nice converter, but I can stall it to like 4 grand and it doesn't even try to push through the brakes. IDK what the problem is, but that is the only thing that changed. I'll have to talk with them to see what is up. It drove fine for the first 80 miles then it started doing this...any ideas?
