Default 700r4 converter

I have a 1998 Firebird Formula. I have a really nice 30 spline 700r4 converter. IS there anyway to get it to work in my 98 4l60e? I have searched around and got a lot of mixed answers.

Thanks in advance.

No, the lockup clutch friction material is totally different! The PWM TCC on the LS cars will destroy the paper lining that the 700r4 converter clutch is made from, sorry!
